Welcome to a website dedicated to travelling on the cheap
Through the advances of modern technology the world has become a smaller place. People are more inclined to travel further and for longer periods and to more exotic places. Whether it be to Macchu Pichu in Peru, to backpack Europe, or to see Angok Wat in Cambodia. Often, the first source of knowledge for most people about these travel destinations is the traditional paperback guidebook.
If you think about it, a guidebook is a collaboration of different writers on their travel experiences, similar to a wikipedia. These guidebooks are bulky, expensive and become outdated very quickly. Guidebooks are generic and are not suited to backpackers and those wanting to travel at affordable prices.
The aim of this website is for every traveller to participate and share their travel experiences on how to travel on the cheap. Tips on how to save money and avoid being ripped off. Because at the end of the day, everyone wants a good deal - and when you find it, vou want to tell the world! This website is a wiki, where you can actively participate and read about current information on travelling and how to do it cheaply.
The information on this website can be accessed online, printed out, or you can cut and paste the information you require. Put it on your laptop or PDA. In the upcoming future, this information will be available in RSS format and downloadable onto ipods.
